FAQ's

Can anyone join for a run?

Yeah! Just turn up, everyone is welcome to run with us!

Follow us on InstagramFacebook so you know when and where to meet!

Oh, and it's completely FREE!
...but If you want to support the crew, or just want some fresh gear, peep our BSRC Merch.

How fast do you run? And how far? I'm not sure I would be able to keep up...

There is no set pace! Run, jog, or walk at your own pace, stop at halfway, it's all G!
Those that want to run fast (or further) run together, those that want to jog or have a rest halfway jog together.
There are always people that will run, jog, or walk with you!

When and where do you run?
Weekly runs usually start at the Goodwill Bridge, meeting point outside The Ship Inn, Southbank Brisbane.

Check our Facebook events page and follow us on Instagram to stay up to date.

Are your runs serious training?

The 'Social' in Brisbane Social Run Club is legit. Post-run socials are legit after every Thursday night run.
The best way to relax after a run is a catch up over food & drinks with the crew. It's a vibe. Runner’s discount available for BSRC crew!

What about on the weekends?

On the weekends we Parkrun together! Trust us, it's just better when you have your crew cheering you on!
We switch up which Parkrun we do each week, so be sure to check our Facebook or Instagram to stay up to date.

What about long runs, or preparing for races?

The club is a great place to connect and find training opportunities outside of the weekly runs, especially in the lead up to major running events.
This may be in form of informal smaller group runs or getting training tips to progress your running journey. It's a great way for people looking at increasing their level of fitness or if you are preparing for longer distance races.

Does BSRC compete in races?

Yeah! We enter races as a club! You can rep BSRC, and also come along as a supporter and cheer on our participants with the crew!
